Dress Code

We do not have a uniform at Lighthouse Microschool. Learners can wear whatever feels comfortable to them as long as the clothing is free from objectionable logos and language. We trust our families and learners to choose what is right for each child.

Since we do plan to explore the world outside even during rain, we ask each learner to keep rain-appropriate weather outerwear including rain boots if they choose at the school.

Also, each learner will need to have at least one full set of clothing at the school to change if they need to change during the day.

Learning can get messy sometimes and we don't want clothing to be a reason to hold back from fun and learning.

We will design and produce our own school shirts that can be worn whenever we go out on explorations around town or whenever the mood strikes.
